The Website for This Book

This book explains fundamental mechanisms that stay relevant for the long run. How an AI learns from text, how it computes, why a convincing answer can still be wrong. That doesn't change every year.

Other things change constantly. Which model is currently the strongest, what a provider costs, which tools are worth it. Details like that don't belong in a printed book, because they are already outdated by the time it appears. That's what the website is for.

That's where everything lives that belongs to the book but isn't well served by a fixed binding. The glossary with all the technical terms that appear here. A search across the entire text, for when you want to find a passage again. The sources, for looking things up and reading further. Companion material for individual chapters. And a page with corrections: if a passage in the book turns out to be wrong or misleading, the correction is published there.

There is also a newsletter. In it, I write regularly about what is moving in the field. Which models have arrived, which tools are actually useful, what is happening in the market. That is the part a book cannot do. The book gives you the understanding to put new things in context. The newsletter brings you the new things.
